Tallinn hosted the 6th Inter-Institutional Steering Group Meeting of the Anna Lindh Foundation

On October 19, 2017, the Inter-Institutional Steering Group (IISG) Meeting of the Anna Lindh Foundation took place in Tallinn at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia with the participation of the ALF Executive Director Amb. Hatem Atallah, employees of ALF, representatives from European External Action Service (EEAS), MFA Malta, MFA Estonia, MFA Bulgaria, Estonian School of Diplomacy, and from the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies (MEDAC, Malta).

On the evening of the arrival of the participants, they were welcomed by the Swedish Ambassador H.E. Anders Ljunggren with a welcome reception at the Swedish Embassy in Tallinn.

IISG meeting focused on the exchange of information on the main programming and policy actions by the institutions. Also, the conclusions of the MED FORUM 2016 and the priorities of the upcoming Bulgarian Presidency of the European Council were introduced.

IISG meeting was followed by an open event at the Tallinn University Baltic Media and Film School where the Intercultural Trends Report 2017 by ALF was introduced in the format of a panel discussion.
