Ukrainian Civil Servants Complete Study Visit to Tallinn (February 26-March 2, 2018)

On February 26 – March 2, 2018, the Estonian School of Diplomacy had the pleasure of hosting a 10-member Ukrainian delegation in Tallinn for a study visit on International Relations, Security Affairs, and the Eastern Partnership. The delegation consisted of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament), the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Presidential Administration, and the  Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.

During this week-long visit the delegation met with a variety of Estonian experts and enjoyed fruitful discussions on Estonian Foreign Policy, Cyber Security, Digital Society, Energy Security, Lessons Learned from the Estonian Presidency, International Law, NATO and EU Responses to Security Challenges in Europe after the Crimean Annexation, and the Eastern Partnership. The study visit finished with participation in the day-long 5th Annual Tallinn Conference on Eastern Partnership.

The study visit was part of an ongoing joint project of ESD and the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine,  financed by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
