To date, ESD has more than 800 graduates, after their studies, they have gone on to international relations careers in government institutions, international organisations, non-governmental and civil society bodies, and the private sector. Many have become successful career diplomats and ambassadors. Our alumni network covers Estonia, the Eastern Partnership, countries, Central Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. Indeed, students frequently cite the diverse backgrounds of their classmates as a highlight of their experience, as it offers a more international and intercultural experience while widening students’ networks.
ESD provides its students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills that effectively prepare them for career advancement. The study programme is delivered by a number of distinguished experts and academics from Estonia and around the world, and consists of study visits–including to neighbouring countries–as well as lectures, seminars, and workshops.
