The Institute for Development and Diplomacy (IDD) in partnership with Estonian School of Diplomacy and Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine organised a capacity-building workshop for diplomatic academies.
The participants had productive sessions led by Mr. Ekke Nõmm, Director of the Estonian School of Diplomacy. They also had a chance to get a deep overview on the regional diplomatic institutions in a range of presentations moderated by Ms. Aygun Hajiyeva, Advisor to the Vice Rector of ADA University and the Deputy Director at IDD.
Ambassador Elchin Amirbayov, Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments briefed the participants on the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and the peacebuilding process in the region.
Mr. Aykhan Hajizada, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, talked about the foreign policy of Azerbaijan in the wider Black Sea Region. Damjan Krnjević Mišković, Director for Policy Research and Analysis at IDD described the current situation and modern challenges to the Black Sea Region during the discussion.
Ambassador Hennadii Nadolenko, Director of the DAU delivered a session on perspectives and the potential priorities of the joint research cooperation.
