The final stage of the project “Preparation of Moldova’s Public Sector for Negotiations and Integration with the European Union” has been successfully completed!
Over the past months, we have been working tirelessly to enhance the capacity of Moldova’s public sector in the context of EU negotiations and integration. Through a series of workshops, online lectures, and expert-led sessions, officials involved in EU-accession negotiations and responsible for Moldova’s internal EU-integration process have gained valuable insights into EU enlargement, negotiation processes, and best practices for European integration.
This project marks a significant milestone in Moldova’s journey toward EU accession, equipping public institutions with the necessary skills to effectively support the country’s European aspirations.
The goal of the project is to increase the capacity of the Moldovan State Chancellery, the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, and the Moldovan Diplomatic Institute (MDI) by training officials who are involved in EU-accession negotiations and responsible for Moldova’s internal EU-integration process. It also aims to enhance the institutional capacity of MDI as a training center, enabling the institute to develop and implement EU-related training programs in the future.
By sharing Estonia’s experience in various EU-integration aspects, the project has helped enhance the capacity of Moldovan officials to successfully conduct accession negotiations and manage EU-integration activities. Throughout the training process, Estonian experts from different sectors have provided valuable information on the structural reforms needed for Moldova on its European path.
