Graduates of the Diplomatic Academy of Armenia in Tallinn for a week-long study visit organised by the Estonian School of Diplomacy

In cooperation with the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Diplomatic Academy of Armenia, the Estonian School of Diplomacy (ESD) organises in Tallinn, from the 23rd to the 28th of October 2017, a study-visit for thirteen recent graduates of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, led by Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan, Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia.

The programme will introduce the participants to views on Estonian foreign and security policy, foreign service development, and IT-related experience in Estonia, presented by leading Estonian experts and policymakers. The programme aims to foster discussions on international relations, security, e-governance and IT-sector, regional cooperation and good governance.

The programme includes visits to the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Estonian Parliament, e-Estonia Showroom, the Government Office, the Armenian Embassy in Tallinn, the Office of the President of Estonia, the Mektory, the University of Tartu, as well as the Estonian National Museum.

The study visit aims at building direct contacts, promotes the exchange of ideas and interests to build stronger mutual ties and encourage initiatives for future cooperation between Estonia and Armenia.
The project is financed by Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the framework of development cooperation.
